Narrow Gauge Pleasure has been in this location for two decades but after many years of spending my spare time maintaining it I have realised that it is now time to stop. I don't think of this as a bad thing, I have seen many developments on the narrow gauge scene since I began the site and almost all of them are positive. Our narrow gauge railways are now more numerous and longer than ever before and this is a major reason why my limited spare time is no longer sufficient to keep the site current.
When I started the site many of the railways had little or no web presence but these days any functioning railway has a comprehensive web site so there is less need for a site such as this. For the moment I am leaving this page so that anyone landing here can easily find the web sites of the railways formerly featured on Narrow Gauge Pleasure, so, in no particular order, they are listed below.
I remain an enthusiastic supporter of and visitor to the uk's narrow gauge railways and recommend anyone to spend a little time around them as the opportunity presents itself. It only remains to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported the site over the years by providing material, allowing me to use their photographs or just letting me know about developments I might otherwise have missed.
